Reviews
This store is awful. Yesterday, I needed a sun balloon to celebrate my daughter. Saw it online at this location, added it in my cart, but decided it would work best for my work schedule not to wait for the 2 hr pick-up. I took time out of work to rush over there and the girl with dark black hair told me that "if it's not on the wall, then we don't have it." I then asked why would I be able to order it online then? She said that once I do checkout online, it shouldn't allow me to pay. Man, she couldn't be more wrong. I left really upset as I was completely empty handed, took time out of work & needed to rush back, and was worried my daughter's celebration was ruined.
When I got home, I WAS able to process the order. Waited to see if I was going to receive a call that the balloon was indeed out of stock, but never did. Once the order was ready, I had to ask my husband if he can take time out of his work to pick it up, as I already wasted 45 min going there the first time.
If this employee would have just taken two minutes to actually look for this item, instead of giving me an answer just to get rid of me, then she would've been doing her job. What a concept.
Also, there were upper management there as well, complaining about a former disgruntled staff member, an employee who was a no-show, having to turn the place around, and buying 7 pairs of scissors that are now missing. If you would emphasize the importance of excellent customer service; hire employees who actually want to work, are self-motivate, and who take pride in themselves and the company; and exemplify professionalism yourself; then maybe, you guys would still have a thriving business instead of the looming threat of going under. And word of advice, maybe take your leadership meeting in the back room. Customers do have ears.
They had everything I need to turn my apartment into a New Year shabang!!!! Everyone loved it.. I haven't taken anything down yet!!
Halloween is approaching. Your store crowded and the line is all the way to the back of the store and you only have one register open and six or seven people are walking back and forth behind the checkout counter. Open more registers to accommodate customers
No sense of urgency at the store I stood in line for 30 minutes for them to blow up two balloons. The workers are like zombies!!! no one talks to to let customers know what line to stand in. The workers look at you like you're stupid. . Save yourself the aggravation and go to a different location. I asked the one girl a question she shook her head!!! I'm sorry I can't hear your head shake!!! great customer service skills party City..
They wanted $75 just to add helium to 20 latex balloons that I had bought somewhere else,no thank you
Party City has changed over the years. Prices are higher. I used to get balloons there but the Dollar Tree carries the same variety at a much lower price!
I've been calling all day to cancel a balloon order and they will not answer... I called 15 times since they opened. What's happening
Put an online order for balloons in at 1:45pm. The online order said they would be done by 4:30pm. That’s fine and dandy. I arrived at 5:00pm to pick up my order. I approach an employee and show her my order number and she tells me they still have to blow them up. They had 3 and half hours and couldn’t have the order ready by the time it said it be done. If I was in a rush and needed them asap it would have been a huge problem. Employees should keep track of time and orders so this doesn’t happen to anyone else in the future.
